July 1947, International waters off Palestine

SS Exodus, a ship carrying Jewish refugees running from holocaust of the Nazi heading towards Palestine, to build their new settlement. British, then the controller of Palestine, would not allow that to happen.

British Royal Navy intercept SS Exodus denying them entry into Palestinian waters.

"Several hours of fighting followed, with the ship’s passengers spraying fuel oil and throwing smoke bombs, life rafts and whatever else came to hand, down on the British sailors trying to board, The Times reported at the time. Soon the British opened fire. Two immigrants and a crewman on the Exodus were killed; scores more were wounded, many seriously. The ship was towed to Haifa, and from there its passengers were deported, first to France and eventually to Germany, where they were placed in camps near Lübeck."

That tragedy received international backlash forcing Britain to allow Jews to settle in Palestine, leading to the formation of an illegal country now know as Israel.

63 years later, the Zionists of Israel is doing the exact same thing, if not worst if you consider (1) the scale of resistance for the ships' passengers and (2) the mission the ships are carrying.

Ironic? it's tragic... I'm reading: Mavi Marmara vs ExodusTweet this!
